ROCS
The RMIT Occasional Choral Society (ROCS) was founded in 1999 by Sandra Uitdenbogerd and is the longest-running of the RMIT Music collectives. ROCS is strongly affiliated with other Australian university choral societies. No longer ‘occasional’, it rehearses throughout the year, mainly on Thursday evenings. ROCS usually performs two or three major concerts a year, in addition to participation with the other RMIT Music groups in the Showcase concerts.
ROCS is a non-auditioned choir, and you do not have to be an RMIT student tos ing with us. ROCS provides RMIT students and interested members of the community with the opportunity to sing a wide variety of music in a friendly,non-competitive environment, meet and socialise with like minded people.
